The TABOU TEC All Round 9'2" X 29" (AST/Wood) has 150 liters
of buoyancy for expert paddlers up to 230 pounds (flat
water paddle, surf and windsurf beginners up to 150 lbs).
20 liters more volume on this board than its small 8'2" wave brother, but almost same waver performance from the shape, the 9 2" fits in less than perfect conditions and makes every wave a half pipe.
In addition, it also brings heavier riders easily to the line up. The parallel outline combined with the fast rocker provides quick paddling, a lot of speed in shallow water and in the waves. Just like the little brother the narrow nose makes it easier in offshore wind to catch waves. Bottom Line: For each wave the right answer.
The 3 fin set up and the narrow tail creates a surprisingly
versatile board - loose and controlled surfing in small to medium waves.
Light weight and
durable AST/Wood construction for every-day use. A thick, durable seamless outer skin,
gives the board high strength, ding and impact resistance. Strategic
use of glass reinforcements ensures Quality: superior material

Maximum
durability and value. Tough and lite TABOU AST WOOD technology uses
layers of 400g glass mat with an expanding epoxy resin
system that creates volume within the skin, as it cures under pressure.
This creates a thick, stiff, and durable sandwiched laminate. A 3/4
deck wood layer improves rigidity and deck impact resistance.
