We have been very impressed with the Bic Jungle Stand Up Paddle Boards after using them extensively for stand up paddle surf, and windsurfing. We judge the Jungle Stand Up Paddleboard to be the best value due to it's great price, features, performance, fun and multi sport use.

Key Features of the Bic Jungle Paddleboard:

Stand Up Paddle:
Volume and stability: Ease of balance while paddling either for stand-up surfing in the waves, or in Kayak mode.
Specific rocker line for stand-up / kayak: Combining the surf and windsurf features, you have the best compromise in one board for fun stand-up wave surfing, and flatwater long distance cruising either in stand-up or kayak.
Jungle nose cut-out: Gives you an additional point for securing the paddle when being washed in the waves.
Rear leash plug position: Rear positioned leash plug lessens the drag of the board when being washed in the waves.

Kayak:
Inserts in the deck of the board allow you to attach a BIC Kayak seat for long-distance cruising.
Rear footstraps: Together with a roof rack strap, can be used to attach a waterproof bag for long distance adventures.
Extra accessories required: $99 Bic Jungle Kayak kit includes 2 Pc. Kayak Paddle and Kayak Sit Down Backrest.

Surf:
Volume and stability: Easy to catch and stand-up in small to moderate waves equals typical summer conditions. Ever tried tandem surfing with your kids? It will hook them right away as they start to surf immediately!
Specific rocker line for surf: strong kick in the tail, lift at the nose Good surfing performance and manoeuvrability on the wave considering the size of the board.
Rail bevels in the nose: Make it easy to turn and surf the wave.
Relatively narrow width: Easy paddling
Thin and smooth pads: Comfort while paddling and a responsive feel.
Rear leash plug position: Rear positioned leash plug lessens the drag of the board when being washed in the waves.
Extra accessories required: Just add a Bic Surf 9' longboard leash!

Windsurf:
Volume and stability: Ease of uphauling while learning to windsurf.
"Saber" style daggerboard: Directional stability and upwind sailing equals you can get back to where you started. “Saber” style greatly improves the board's weight, and allows you to completely remove the daggerboard for better surfing.
Long length / narrow width: Glide in light, sub-planing wind conditions. Great for cruising!
Specific rocker line for windsurf: flat mid-section  For glide and planing performance.
Rail bevels in the nose: Easy gybes and manoeuvrability on the wave.
Lightwind wavesailing: As a surf / windsurf hybrid, this board makes a great waveboard for lightwind conditions. If you need footstraps, use the front footstraps only as your back foot is used to turn the board.
Freeriding : For flatwater cruising, use the outer positioned “freeride” footstrap inserts as the wind starts to pick-up.
Extra accessories required: Gaastra Freetime rig for novice, light wind recreational and surf conditions. Gaastra Pilot for freeride cruising. Or your own wave rig for lightwind wavesailing in 5-15 knots.

One board for GUARANTEED Water Time
The 2009 Bic Jungle is the most versatile board on the market. With it's 2 removable center fin options (unlike other brands), we find the Jungle tracks very well for paddling and is unreal for gliding in light wind windsurfing with the long dagger center fin. With plenty of rocker, it is also super loose in small waves.

Aimed at entry level and recreational sailors, this sail was initially designed for schools and resort operators looking for a durable, easy to rig and use sail.

 

No other sail line has the durability, draft stability, soft feel, easy power on and off, and outline balance than these sails offer. The Freetime allows users to feel the balance and easily control the pull of the sail. The Oxbow 100% Carbon Stand Up Paddle is designed to give maximum performance with minimal weight. The compression molded curved blade has a high density foam core which adds strength and reduces overall weight for easy control and power. Our ergonomic handle and oval shaft are silky smooth with no hot spots for extended paddle sessions. The carbon handle is loose to allow for cutting shaft to length and can be epoxied or taped in place. Get the cleanest water release every time with this precision made paddle.

Available in 1 or 2 piece. The 2 piece carbon shaft is split at mid-point with a snug connection secured with a locking stainless steel spring button.
