Cruiser SUP Kona Ultra-Lite Wood

The Cruiser SUP Kona Ultra-Lite Wood makes Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) accessible and fun for everyone. Thanks to its superior design, optimized for real world conditions, it handles well in both flatwater and small-medium surf conditions. 10'2" x 32" / 10'8" x 32.5" / 11'6" x 31.5"

Cruiser SUP's Ultra-Lite Wood/Carbon/Glass construction offers the lightest weight, highest performing boards, that remain durable. The construction features thin layers of wood veneer, sandwiched between layers of epoxy and fiberglass. The end result is the lightest and strongest skin over a water-tight, closed-cell EPS core.

The Kona Wood Ultra-Lite comes equipped with a premium, full length Comfort Top deck pad for ultimate traction and comfort, three fins, and carry handle to make transporting your boards to and from the water as easy and comfortable as possible.

The natural graphics, light-weight construction, and stability of the Kona Wood Ultra-Lite make it the perfect board for a wide range of users.

Cruiser SUP Ultra-Lite boards offers a class leading, user friendly "soft & tough", high quality molded wood/carbon/glass construction.

Tough: In addition to three layers of 4oz. fiberglass on top and 4oz/6oz layers on bottom, (5 layers of fiberglass wrapping the rails), there is full-length .5mm real wood veneer reinforcement (stronger than fiberglass) sandwiched between the first and second fiberglass layers on top and bottom. Carbon reinforcement in the standing area to prevent heel dents (PVC also added for the V-Max). Extra layer of fiberglass added to the rails, nose and tail for extra ding resistance.

The quality CNC shaped 18kg EPS core is strong to prevent heel dents. This combination is vacuum molded for extra strength, impact resistance, lighter weight and accurate shape. The rails are painted in matte finish for improved performance and custom look. The result is a strong and durable premium construction.

Soft: Cruiser SUP Ultra-Lite Kona, Nalu and Wahine now offer 2/3 length high quality, plush EVA foam coverage for a soft, comfortable touch. With 4.5mm non-slip 'crocodile" texture EVA foam, it is extremely comfortable for cruising and yoga.

Awesome light weight board October 24, 2016
Reviewer: Linda M. from Pocono Pines, PA
I love this board. I used it almost daily all summer long on a lake and it was perfect. It was light enough for me to lift on and off my SUV roof rack by myself. I bought the longest board and am happy I did because I often have one of my kids on the front.

Super Fun Boards
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
They look great and perform great! We have had so much fun with these boards on both flat intracoastal water and ocean waves. They have a great long boarding style look and are very light weight. The deck padding is super comfortable on your feet. Our friends and family have used them also and find them super easy to learn on. Absolutely love them!!

Awesome board and service!
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
I have had the best customer service experience with this company. Meant to upgrade my paddle after I placed my order and they quickly and kindly worked with me to make the changes. Unfortunately, I haven't actually had the chance to use my board as I am in the area of Texas that experienced severe flooding. I will say I was a little nervous about being able to carry a 12 foot board as I am a woman, but the board is lightweight and I can easily carry it around. Thanks for the great product and service!

Extremely Stable SUP
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
An absolutely beautiful SUP and extremely stable for big paddlers.  I am 260 lbs and the board (11'6") sits me completely out of the water, plus the extra load of either one of my sons (9 ears and 11 years old). We enjoy the board on the flat water of the creeks most of the time, but I have also tandem surfed knee to waist high beach break with my youngest son.  We can't be more pleased.  The board is less durable than other SUPs we looked at (ie Cruiser DuraMax), but the weight savings makes it worth it.  You definitely have to treat these boards as you would a traditional fiber glass surfboard.

Happy Paddlers
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
We were new to the SUP world and did a lot of research. We just could not stomach paying over $1,000 for our first board/paddles - so the combos and various options appealed to us. Now that we have them, and others are seeing and using them, everyone is impressed. The company was great to work with and the people were responsive to our questions about shipping.
