The Mana 10'0" is a fun board for small surf and people of all sizes. The Mana's width and short length make standup paddling in waves easy to learn. Its single concave bottom shape and rocker profile set the standard in terms of stability and turning. These features make surfing simple, and a real blast.
A word of caution with short wide boards like the Mana and the Starboard Whopper. They do not track or glide as well the Oxbow Cruiser/Cruiser Classic (11',11'6",12'), or Surftech Laird Softtop (11'6" or 12'1") in flat water conditions.

We have designed and produced our NEW PA66 paddle. Our custom designed paddle blade is molded from a 30% glass filled nylon, the same durable material used by gun manufacturers for light weight and extremely durable military grade equipment. This innovative blade design has a dihedral face that blends to a flat tip for clean entry.
The Blade is bonded into our custom designed aluminum shaft. This 6061-t6 aluminum shaft carries the water splitting dihedral face of the paddle up the full length of the shaft. The innovative shaft profile produces a lighter weight per foot compared to other aluminum shafts and also eliminates the possibility equipment failures due to blade rotation inside a round shaft.
The ergonomics of a paddle grip seem to be a source for great debate in the world of paddling. Since we couldn't solve the problem of making one shape to make everyone happy, we decided to give three different handles with each paddle purchase so you can pick your favorite. We include a molded palm grip, T – handle, and ball grip with each paddle. The total weight for the paddle comes in at 29 oz. (80" length), and all that for a very reasonable price.

The Oxbow 100% Carbon Stand Up Paddle is designed to give maximum performance with minimal weight. The compression molded curved blade has a high density foam core which adds strength and reduces overall weight for easy control and power. Our ergonomic handle and oval shaft are silky smooth with no hot spots for extended paddle sessions. The carbon handle is loose to allow for cutting shaft to length and can be epoxied or taped in place. Get the cleanest water release every time with this precision made paddle.

As a core brand connected to windsurfing and surfing, we started experimenting with boards and paddles about 4 years ago monitoring where the sport is heading and decided to launch a board and paddle program that suits the roots of this newly recovered ancient form of surfing. With master longboard shaper Harold Iggy it was only a question of time to find the right balance between longboard performance and the right easy access even for first timers.
The boards can be ridden :
- As stand up surf boards where the rider paddles into waves already standing up. You see the waves easier as you are higher up, you are faster to get to the right position in the lineup and last but not least it is easier to get to uncrowded spots. As a general rule it helps to stay away from crowded surfing lineups or at least show the proper respect and share waves.
- You can distance paddle using classic canoe paddling technique. In some locations like Maui we race downwind trying to catch the open ocean swells and surf them by connecting as many glides as possible. At the same time we try to catch breaking waves at the different outside reefs along the shoreline.
- And off course the board can be used as a light air windsurfing board in flatwater as well as waves.
Naish stand up boards current range introduces the following boards:
- Stand up Surf 11f4"; this board offers enough volume to suit any first timer to the sport. The width combined with enough thickness allow for plenty stability to focus on the paddling. The design also makes it easy to turn the board around which helps a lot when you need to get into the right position to paddle for waves. It features a mast track as well as a carry handle. The board is laminated in a full wood venier construction, which makes it extremely tough against impact, and pressure dings. It shows a full wood venier reveal in the deck area and uses wax like a classic surfboard.
The Naish paddle is a classic Hawaiian blade design with a carbon/ glass blade and a specially treated T8 aloy shaft. The advantage to most carbon paddles is clearly the price as well as the fact that the paddle is tougher in terms of daily use and impact damages.
