The T1 Oxbow Carbon comes in two or three pieces:
1) The lower shaft section with paddle blade (2pc paddle).

A Hacksaw.

A small amount of multi-purpose glue such as Aralditeฎ
.
Step-by-Step Instructions for cutting the shaft to the correct length:
NOTE BEFORE USE; WE SUGGEST USING THE PADDLE WITH T HANDLE
SECURED BY DUCT TAPE UNTIL YOU ARE CERTAIN OF LENGTH YOU WISH TO USE
First take the upper shaft section and fit it over the sleeve of the lower shaft section.
There is a small stainless steel button that will fit into the lower end of the upper shaft
section once in the correct position.
Remove the T-grip that is fitting loosely in the end of the Upper Shaft Section.
Take the paddle and place it behind the person it needs to be cut-to-length for.
Ensure the blade faces down and the person is not wearing shoes and is on fl at ground.
Mark the height of the person on the shaft of the paddle with a felt tip pen.
Measure 20-25cm / 8-10inchs (from the height mark) further along the shaft of the
paddle towards the T-grip and make a 2nd mark with a felt tip pen.
With a hack saw cut the shaft of the paddle at the 2nd mark.
The T-grip then needs to be glued in place at the end of the newly cut shaft.
Take the T-grip and place a generous quantity of glue over the rough sanded area at the
end of the T-grip.
Insert the T-grip in the end of the shaft being careful to ensure the it is parallel to the
blade at the other end of the shaft.
Allow the glue to set for the prescribed period. The paddle is now ready for use.
