If you are between 170 and 190 pounds, check out these great boards for anything from calm water, to yoga, to surf. Board sizing is more than just looking at the numbers though - you will want to consider the conditions in which you are using the board (flat water, ocean, surf, etc), your skill level, as well as performance you are looking for (cruising, touring, yoga, surf). Other dimensions such as width, thickness, outline, and rocker profile vary between sizes and models and may need consideration to maximize your performance and enjoyment. If sharing with others, lighter users can always use a board designed for heavier riders so it is best to size for the weight of the largest user for maximum versatility. Riders that are planning on tandem riding with young kids or pets (i.e. dogs) should factor the weight of the child or pet into the weight of the largest adult user to get the correct size and stability. Please note that the Search By User Weight or Board Length Guide is ideal weight in flat water and small waves.
