Residential Delivery Instructions
Important notice regarding board deliveries by transport truck:
Due to the care we take in double boxing your shipment, we rarely experience shipping damage (less than 1%), however, to protect our valued customers, please comply with the following instructions:
The driver (or warehouse staff for terminal pickup) should permit you to inspect the package at time of delivery. If there is any damage please contact Paddleboard Direct immediately at 1-888-291-9905 or info@particleboard. We will either instruct you to refuse the board and make arrangements for a replacement or offer you a repair credit if you feel that is equitable.
Sometimes the drivers are very rushed and may not wait for you to inspect while they deliver your board shipment. The following paragraph is most important - especially if someone else signs for the delivery.
Please print and highlight the following: To safeguard against possible concealed damage, or damage missed at the time of inspection, please sign the way bill for your shipment "Cartons damaged, possible concealed damage, pending full inspection". Any damage must be reported to Paddle board Direct within 48 hours.
Paddleboard Direct will not accept any responsibility for damages after you have signed for your board without notation of possible hidden damage on the waybill. Any damage must be reported to Paddleboard Direct within 48 hours.
If you sign for your delivery without any of the requested remarks (note regarding possible hidden damage) and later find damage, we are unable to initiate damage claims or return the board with YRC/Kingsway, Therefore, if there is non-compliance, no refunds, exchanges or credits will be considered.
If there is full compliance with the foregoing (note regarding possible hidden damage), we will either instruct you to refuse the board shipment (and make arrangements for a replacement) or offer you a repair credit if you feel that is equitable.
We also suggest that you retain all packaging material until you are 100% certain you have the fin(s) with screw /nut. These items are in separate packaging, often taped to the outside of the board. Also ensure you have received any accessories you ordered, before disposing of boxes, bubble wrap and packaging material.
